First anniversary of London bombings

Marking the first anniversary

A national two-minute silence was held at 12 noon on Friday, 7th July 2006. A commemorative event also took place at Queen Mary's Gardens, in London's Regent's Park.

We are very aware of the strength of feelings that may be evoked by the anniversary, the events being held in recognition of those who lost their lives and those whose lives have been effected by the experience.If you feel it would be helpful to talk about your feelings, or if we can be of any assistance, remember that we are here to support you in any way we can.
